Is this a cause of celebration?
Even though much has been said about deforestation, and the international community is noticing the loss in forest cover, should we heave a sigh of relief or should we step up measures to ensure no further damage is done?

I personally feel that deforestation is actually a very serious problem that we are facing on our hands. Like what i learnt in my geography class, deforestation actually speeds up global warming and every single part of the world faces the danger of flooding. Although many countries have been trying their best to prevent this by like maybe planting trees, for just one tree they plant, many hectares of forests are being cleared away. So I personally think that we should step up our measures before anything further damage is done. There is only one earth, let's do out best to protect it :)
