The people in the black suits are represents the Big Three, French Prime Minister, Clemenceau , being the one in the middle waiting to pull the rope, British Prime Minister , Lyold George, watching sternly at the extreme left and US president, Wilson, raising his hands as if to say ''I can't stop them''.
The figure that is not wearing a shirt represents Germany, not being able to do anything and just had to accept the punishment. The figure was about to be executed. This shows that the treaty of versailles was too harsh on Germany as a whole. Germany was not allowed to join the peace negotiations, having no choice but to accept its cruel fate of having its resources stripped from her that was similar to being executed.
The cartoonist is not supportive of the Treaty Of Versailles as he shows the 3 leaders who signed the treaty beheading a person with a guillotine. The person holding the rope is the prime minister of France who is the person that wrote out the terms of the treaty that made Germany pay alot reparations and limiting their army. Standing further back is the prime minister of Britain. The one that is raising his hands is the President of United States and he is stating that he can't do anything to stop the Treaty.

The cartoonist does not support the signing of the Treaty of Versailles as the cartoon he drew depicts a scene of a guy that is half-naked with his hands tied to his back, being sentenced to death. The three men wearing the black shirt are looking on as a short plump man prepared to release the rope attached to the razor sharp knife. From what i can infer,i think that the three men are the political leaders of the country and they hated the government for signing the treaty as it brought about hardship to the country and its people. Therefore, the cartoon shows that the one responsible for signing the treaty is being punished severely. This also shows that he condition of the treaty is harsh as it was enough to set the people wanting to kill the one reponsible for signing it.
The caroonist supports the signing of treaty of versailles as the man, with his hands tied, is going to be killed.this man represents germany. the other 3 men represent the big three who implemented on the harsh terms of the treaty which was the same as killing germany.

Indeed, they supported the signing of the treaty of versailles. However, they had another motive for the signing of the treaty which was revenge. The Allied Powers pushed Germany to the brink as such,it meant that they were somehow trying to make the losers suffer and they even tied his hand up which also showed that Germany was helpless and could only do what it was being told to do.The men is the black suit represented the allied powers who had pushed Germany to the brink that somehow, dying would be the better and easier way out.

The three men dressed in black is the allied powers in the treaty and the man dressed without any shirt is the germans. His hands were tied up by the men as they did not want him to retaliate or take revenge. The man tied up was going to be taken revenge upon. Thus, this shows us that the treaty was signed to get revenge on the germans.
miss tan, did you receive what i wrote?

I think that the cartoonist does not support the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. As the source shows that the man with the hands tied together, which is Germany is going to be executed by the French Prime Minister, Clemenceau while the British Prime Minister, Lloyd George is watching sternly means that the cartoon is trying to show that Germany is going to suffer under the British and the French. I can infer that the cartoonist is trying to show that the French and the British are prepared to put harsh terms in the treaty to punish Germany badly. The purpose of this cartoon is to show that Germany is being treated unfairly. Hence, the cartoonist does not support the signing of the treaty.

I think that the cartoonist who drew this picture does indeed support the treaty of Versailles as this cartoon shows Prime Minister Lloyd George of Britain,President Wilson of the United States of America and Prime Minister Clemenceau of france standing at the gullintine and with Prime Minister Clemenceau holding the string to it. The person that is not wearing a shirt most likely represents Germany, he stands by the guillotine with his hands tied as he cannot do anything to change the fact that he is going to get slaughtered.
This shows that the treaty is practically going to cause germany to die as it does not have any means of escape or a way to negotiate. Daryl Choo Wei Ming (9) 3D
the german cartoonist feel that the treaty of versaillies was very harsh on them as they had to disarm until they could barely protect themselves and it cause them national shame as they were once a very powerful nation. They also had to pay huge amounts of reparations to france and belgium and it was a great strain on their economy as their economy was war-torn.They also had to give up their terrorties which they controlled to the allied powers and the loss of resources meant that saving the economy was harder and thus causing resentment among the germans
The source shows that a figure is being tied up and not wearing shirt being surrounded by 3 figures wearing black suit. I think it was drawn by a cartoonist that supports the signing of the Treaty of Versailles because it shows that the how weak was Germany at that point of time. I also think that it must have been drawn by a cartoonist that does not supports the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. The cartoon makes the Allied Powers look so powerful and Germany looking so powerless. Obviously, a non supporter would not draw such a negative picture about the effect of Treaty of Versailles. A cartoonist that supports the Treaty of Versailles would have shown how Germany is powerless like how the source shows right now. Hence, the cartoonist is not a supporter of the Treaty of Versailles.

This picture depicts a scene where the Big 3, Wilson, Clemenceau and Lloyd George standing by a guillotine, preparing to execute a man, who i believe is to be the treaty of versailles. The Big 3 didn't like the treaty as they felt that executing it would be too harsh. This shows that the cartoonist who drew this cartoon also dislikes the treaty as he drew out this scene.

The Cartoonist does not support the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. The three figures in the black suit are prime minister of britain, Lloyd George, Prime Minister of France, Clemenceau, and the President of the USA, Wilson. The Man in the cartoon is possibly Germanny being led to the guillotine, where Clemeceau is about to lead ''Germany'' to his death, while Lloyd George watches the process. Presidend Wilson most likely have sympathy with ''Germany'' being led up to his death and possibly wanted to stop the ''execution''. By doing so, the cartoonist shows that he find the Treaty of Versailles very unfair and too harsh, where the Treaty will ultimately lead to Germany's desmise. The cartoonist therefore show that he does not support the Treaty, as implied with the Guillotine, representing the Treaty. This shows that the cartoonist opinion is that the Treaty of Versailles was too harsh to the cartoonist' eyes

This picture show a scene where the Big 3, Clemenceau, Lloyd George and Wilson, standing beside a guillotine, preparing to execute a man, whom is most likely the Treaty of Versailles. This shows that they all have hatred towards the Treaty and want to "kill" or destroy the treaty as they feel that the treaty is too harsh. The cartoonist who drew this cartoon also probably hates the Treaty of Versailles and also wants it to be gone, thus this implies that the cartoonist does not support the signing of the Treaty Of Versailles
The picture shows a scene where the big 3, Wilson, Clemenceau and Lloyd George, are standing beside a guillotine, preparing to execute a man, whom is most likely the Treaty of Versailles. They probably think that the Treaty is too harsh and if it was implemented, it was cause too much hatred towards the treaty. The cartoonist who drew this cartoon probably agree with the Big 3 and also hates the treaty. This can be seen as he drew this scene out. Thus, we can see that the cartoonist does not support the signing the Treaty Of Versilles.

The 3 figures in suit is the Allied powers.P
The man without the suit is Germany.
He lost in the war and thus forced to accept the term omposed by the Allied Powers.
As shown in the cartoon, the man is getting ready to be killed. It implys that the terms of the Treaty will be difficult for Germany to accept as the terms are too harsh on them.
I don't think the cartoonist supports the Treaty Of Versailles. In the source, the three figures in black suits represent the Big Three from Britain, France and the United States of America. The figure not wearing a shirt represents Germany and his hands were tied because Germany caused World War 1. The man not not wearing a shirt would be executed this implies that the treaty would kill Germany as they killed the man.

the 3 figures in black are the allied forces. the figure not wearing any shirt represents germany after the war. due to the lose of war for the germans, the treaty of versailles were made to cripple germany. with the treaty of versailles in place, germany's military force was crippled, they had to pay reparations to the allied powers and had to surrender some land to the allied powers. in the picture, the man with the hands tied was going to be executed by the huge gillotine infront of him. this represents that the allied powers' request in the treaty of versailles were too harsh and that germany could not shoulder the huge reparations. this means that the treaty of versailles were a very harsh form of punishment to the germans.
