It Wasn't Me!

Anyone followed the table tennis firing fiasco? Did anyone notice the way the "apology" was expressed?

Step one: What I said was misunderstood.

Step two: I am sorry that you are upset.

As far as I am concerned, the apology implied this:

Step one: The dumb media actually wrongly reported what I said and you, even dumber readers, don't know what is happening.

Step two: I am sorry you are upset by all this dumbness you dumb people!!!

Somehow, I felt more annoyed AFTER the apology.
