The Ministry of Education (MOE) invites you to suggest a name for the new university which will open in 2011.
Any suggestions, Marists? Go to the MOE website to give your suggestions. Please do try to give names more inspiring than FUS (Fourth University of Singapore) which coincidentally sounds like fools - not a very promising name for an academic institution, is it?
Suggested names should be befitting of a premier educational institution in Singapore, and could reflect the qualities we hope to see in the new university and its students.
The naming exercise will end on 30 November 2008. Your suggestions will be put up to the New University Steering Committee for consideration.
