Stressmann's greatest achivement was to get the German economy up and prospering again. By borrowing money from the USA and changing the currency, he created jobs and revived the German economy. He also had the Young Plan drawn up, which allowed Germany to pay the reparations over a longer time and paying only a smaller sum. He also did negociate with the US goverment, making Germany more trustworthy and allowing the US to lend Germany more money. This allowed Stressmann to us the money to improve the lives of the German people.

I believe that his greatest achievement was the fact that Stresemann managed to convinced the Allies to change and amend the Treaty of Versailles to suit and to accommodate to Germany's needs during the period of redevelopment of their country. The Dawes Plan Germany to pay only what they could afford that was well within their means. Later on, The Young Plan allowed for Germany to make even smaller payments as they were given a longer period of time to pay it.

Stresemann's greatest achievement was reviving the German economy from the super inflation. The first thing he did was to convince the German coal miners to resume work Secondly, he replaced the over-inflated old German "Mark" with the new currency, "Rentermark". This then brought confidence and some stability to the German economy. Stresemann then went on to borrow money from the U.S to create jobs for the German people. This led to prosperity and greater economic stability. Lastly, Stresemann renegotiated the reparation in treaty of Versailles, which eventually lowered the ammount of reparation as well as extended the time given to pay the reparations. This placed less strain on the German economy, allowing it to grow and stabilize. This is why Stresemann's greatest achievement was reviving the German economy.

Stresemann's renegotiation of the Treaty of Versailles was his greatest achievement. Without the renegotiation, Germany's comeback would've been almost impossible, given the oppression from the League of Nations. Of course, the invention of a new currency to strengthen Germany's faltering economy was also vital, as well as the loan from the US. But the renegotiation aspect was the main catalyst in Germany's road to revival.

Stressman's greatest achievement is getting rid of the old 'German Mark'. He replaced it with a brand new currency called the "Rentenmark", thus bringing confidence back to the banking system. By doing so, he managed to borrow money from the USA and create jobs and employment. This led to prosperity and was then known as "The Golden Years". Thus, he was able to renegotiate the reparations payments by persuading the USA, France and Britain to pay back whats they(Germany) could afford. This helped as their payments were reduced and they were given much longer to pay the reparations.

I believe that Stresemann's greatest achievement would be that he removed the old German Mark and came up with the new Rentenmark.

Doing this, Stresemann immediately put an halt to Germany's financial crisis and its hyperinflation problem. He made an impact to the German's and gave them hope and confidence again with the new Rentenmark.

After clearing the hyperinflation problem, Stresemann went to borrow money from America to rebuild Germany and improve the country. This move was so successful and it brought prosperity back to Germany thus this period was referred to as the Golden Years.

With everything in place, he then renegotiated the terms of the Treaty of Versailles with the Dawes Plan and Young Plan.

Prosperity and economical success went back to Germany all because of Stresemann's first move of removing the old German Mark and creation of the Rentenmark.
